This is the finished interior of the home in the pervious gallery, Gallery # IV This home is on the east shore of West Lake Okoboji owned by an active family of four and used as a weekend home. My best work occurs when clients really allow me the room to design for them, without heavy handed design input—and these clients did just that and enjoyed each step in the design development as it was ready. I am grateful to them for working with me in such a way and they are extremely happy with the results. So much so that they had a large party to show off their home and introduced me as their architectural designer and introduced the builder and the cabinet maker as well. We all know they will enjoy it for years to come—because its design is timeless. For more information about this project please see Gallery IV where there is more detail about the project itself.
